Dr. Fanny Szutu

Optometrist

Dr. Fanny Szutu graduated with Dean’s Honour distinction from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, where she also completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences. She then went on to complete an externship in Salt Lake City, Utah where she trained with glaucoma and retina specialists. Besides providing primary eye care, Dr. Szutu participates in volunteer mission work. She has traveled to Africa, India, Jamaica, and Thailand, where she provided free eye care to hundreds of the underserved local residents.

Dr. Szutu was born and raised in Toronto. She had LASIK done in 2011 and is happy to provide advice and care to patients who are interested in the procedure. Dr. Szutu is committed to learning and remaining current in the most effective eye care treatment modalities for her patients.
